A central family community with bragging rights for access to both the Severn River and the Magothy River, Severna Park is rich in its own history. The former Baltimore and Annapolis Railroad, was one of the Nations earliest rails-to-trails park programs, lined with flowers and the pride of many garden clubs. A strong heritage for academics, both in the public and private schools, with very active youth and adult sports programs. There are many community pools and plenty of shopping areas. From most community piers, you can watch the full regattas of the Wednesday night races. There is much to offer in this community just outside of Annapolis.
